Too many caps

Disagreements on capitalization: This paragraph was found in a sports blog — This, meanwhile, is not double-speak, but fact: Smith served in President Clinton's Administration as Counsel to then Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder in the US Department of Justice. Holder is now in President Barak Obama's Attorney General. Both Clinton and Obama are Democrats.

I would not uppercase administration, counsel or Barack Obama's attorney general. If you said Attorney General Holder, that's fine. The president's administration and the counsel aren't divine, so there's no reason to uppercase the words.

People disagree with me, of course, but that's OK. I disagree with them.

Comment: I got a comment on this post today. A man called Valance said... "Interesting Blog, Mister Gillispie. It confirms what I've thought for a long time - that the biggest thing I've learned about writing is a greater understanding of how little I know. There's no reason why I can't improve though, and your Blog can help me do just that. Thank you."

Thank you for reading it. I wouldn't have uppercased blog, though (LOL).
