Quick thoughts on twits

In 2011, I wrote a blog post about folks using apostrophes indiscriminately, and I called in Quick thought's on apostrophe's.

Recently, I tweeted a link to that blog post and quickly got a reply from a tweeter asking if I mistakenly put apostrophes in that headline.

I was tempted to call him a twit, but I didn't. I just told him I knew what I was doing, that I was making a point.

I make mistakes, of course (no way to avoid them completely), but overall I can take care of business.

They did it again. Maybe there's one guy on YouTube who can't handle plural.

If you DID put an "s" on watercraft, it would be watercrafts. And I think watercraft is already singular and plural, like deer.

(I looked it up, and there are times when either watercrafts or watercraft can be correct; but I can't explain it. All I can say is that my spellcheck doesn't like watercrafts.)
