I have two words today: amblyopia and emoluments.
According to a health site, amblyopia (also called lazy eye) is a type of poor vision that usually happens in just one eye but less commonly in both eyes. It develops when there’s a breakdown in how the brain and the eye work together, and the brain can’t recognize the sight from one eye.
According to an online dictionary, an emolument is a salary, fee or profit from employment or office. You've probably heard of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution prohibiting a U.S. president from accepting an expensive plane from Qatar.
Yes, I have amblyopia, but, sadly, I'm not taking emoluments.
