WORDS FOUND RECENTLY

Physiognomist: a person supposedly able to judge character (or, formerly, to predict the future) from facial characteristics.

Rubicund: (especially of someone's face) having a ruddy complexion.

Wuther: a verb that means to blow with a dull roaring sound, often used in dialectal English. It is an alteration of WHITHER, which means to rush, bluster.

Patrimonialist: a ruler who bases his authority on personal power, either directly or indirectly. 

Kakistocracy: government by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous people.

Assiduity: constant or close attention to what one is doing; constant attentions to someone.

Penetralium: refers to the innermost, secret, or hidden part of a building, often with symbolic or religious significance, such as a shrine or sanctuary.

Attenuation: the act or process of attenuating something or the state of being attenuated, such as a lessening in amount, force, magnitude, or value; weakening.

Mendicancy: the condition of being a beggar or the practice of begging.

Meretricious: apparently attractive but having no real value.

Supercilious: behaving or looking as though one thinks one is superior to others.
