Misleading headline

HEADLINE FOUND ONLINE: Hanson holds off charge by Mickelson at Masters

Why did that headline surprise me? It was Saturday night, and the headline made it sound like Peter Hanson had held off Phil Mickelson to win the Masters golf tournament, something that can't happen until Sunday.

So the headline writer probably should have gone in another direction. Perhaps this:

Hanson leads Masters despite Mickelson's charge
