CLIMACTIC vs. CLIMATIC

FOUND ONLINE: The climatic scenes were actually filmed on location at San Francisco's Cable Car Barn.

The writer chose the wrong word here. CLIMATIC literally involves climate, and that doesn't work here. The writer meant the CLIMACTIC (or final) scenes.
