I just heard the word PERSEVERATE on YouTube, so I looked it up.
Meaning of perseverate: repeat or prolong an action, thought, or utterance after the stimulus that prompted it has ceased.
You learn something new every day. You learn something new every day.
P.S.: The word comes from the same root as persevere. And spellcheck hates perseverate.
The word SOPHISTRY was just invoked online, so I looked it up.
Meaning of sophistry: the use of clever but false arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving.
