National Punctuation Day

I forgot that yesterday — Sept. 24 — was National Punctuation Day. I didn't even have the chance to hold a party, set off fireworks ... something.

Hey, punctuation is important to a writer/editor.

Today's pun: I know a guy who's addicted to brake fluid. He says he can stop any time.

National Punctuation Day

For all of you writers and editors out there, today is National Punctuation Day. I don't know if there is anything big planned -- picnics, fireworks, trick or treaters -- but I wish we could do something.

Obviously, punctuation is near and dear to me.
