RETWEET'S or RETWEETS

FOUND ONLINE: Hi, I'm a bot that gives retweet’s to relevant information about technology (and some other things the community posts).

It's RETWEETS, not RETWEET'S. Retweets is NOT possessive or a contraction, so it doesn't need an apostrophe.

It seems like I've been writing about this for decades. (I have.)

To use or not to use an apostrophe

FOUND ONLINE: After the Dolphins defense failed to stop the Buc’s with 1:50 left in the game, Petty took the field for the final drive.

This writer didn't use an apostrophe when he should have (Dolphins defense) and used an apostrophe (Buc's) when he shouldn't have.

After the Dolphins' defense failed to stop the Bucs with 1:50 left in the game, Petty took the field for the final drive.
