NECK FUSION SURGERY

FOUND ONLINE: In a statement, the Dallas Mavericks announced that Bradley was left paralyzed and spent eight weeks in the hospital following neck fusion surgery after being struck by a car while riding his bike in January.

This sentence is WAY too long and complicated. I'd put the pertinent info into one sentence and the rest in another.

I remember Shawn Bradley, the 7-6 center, and am saddened.
