Another current player traded?

HEADLINE FOUND ONLINE: Dolphins trade another current player

That's funny, since they can't trade a past or future player. Dolphins trade another player would have worked nicely.

Something's missing here

Found online: Dolphins general manager knows as well as anyone that the Dolphins need help at receiver. As he said in “Hard Knocks,” the Dolphins have a lot of “4′s, 5′s and 6′s,” but need “1′s, 2′s and 3′s.”

The writer didn't tell us who the Dolphins' GM is. It's a common enough mistake; I've done it at least once (fortunately, we caught it). In this case, I believe it's Jeff Ireland.

From the same story: After returning to the NFL in 2010, the Ravens voted him their Ed Block Courage Award winner for coming back from his legal situation and from a broken foot suffered in training camp.

It sounds like the Ravens returned to the NFL in 2010. The start of that sentence should say After Stallworth returned to the NFL in 2010...,

From another story: Philbin’s understated sense of humor peaks through easily.

Sorry. It peeks through.
