It's money-grubbing worst

FOUND ONLINE: The trail of a high-powered lawyer this month has painted a picture of Washington's elite at it's money-grubbing worst, illustrating how lawyers, lobbyists and public relations specialists leapt onto slippery ethical slopes to cash in on a foreign government's papering over of its sordid reputation.

Wow. That's way to long, and I have a couple of complaints; it's money-grubbing worst should be its money-grubbing worst; public relations specialists probably should be public-relations specialists, and leapt probably should be leaped.

And they probably should have a period after worst and started a new sentence.

DEATH and FATAL together

FOUND ONLINE: Her death was determined to have been caused by a fatal combination of alcohol and barbiturates.

I don't think you need death and fatal in the same sentence. That's redundant.

Either of those words would be a dead giveaway.

A F1 Race

FOUND ON YOUTUBE: 24 Hours Behind The Scenes: Preparing For A F1 Race Weekend

Whoever wrote this saw an F and decided you wouldn't put "an" before an F. F1 stands for Formula One, but it's pronounced "ef" one, and you'd write "an F1 Race Weekend."

It's the same thing with "an" NFL game.
