Media is or media are

This headline makes me wonder:

The problem is that the word media is already plural, so social media are muddying the waters for job seekers. Yes, I also think job seekers is two words.

Breath or breathe

THIS WAS JUST found online:

Actually, he could breathe a sigh of relief on Tuesday. That "e" makes all the difference.
