writing in lowercase

I just read an online article about artificial intelligence and computer sentience, and every word was lowercase. They didn't uppercase the first word of a sentence.

I could read it, of course, but I hated it. It was work, and, frankly, a reader shouldn't have to slog through an article. And that's what happened.

It was worse than someone WRITING EVERYTHING IN UPPERCASE. I hate both.

One good thing, though; at least they used commas and periods.
