OUT OF THIS WORLD

FOUND ONLINE: Their wedding must have been out of this world.

That's the lede for the CNN story on moon man Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin marrying his "longtime love." Aldrin was the second man to walk on the moon in 1969, following Neil Armstrong, and he's 93.

So this is a big deal.

I liked "out of this world." I doubt I would have thought of it, although I might have said that Aldrin was "over the moon" following the wedding.

According to an online dictionary, over the moon means extremely pleased and happy.

The funny thing about the story was the headline: Retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin marries ‘longtime love’ on his 93rd birthday

They got "retired astronaut" and "93rd birthday" in the same headline. I hope he's retired at that age.
