A dawdling writer

Pearl S. Buck had this to say about writing:

"If you start to revise before you've reached the end, you're likely to begin dawdling with the revisions and putting off the difficult task of writing."


She was probably right, at least with fiction. I spend more time editing than I do writing. But I'm a natural editor.
