Wrong Romo

HEADLINE FOUND ONLINE: Giants, Romo agree to two-year, $9 million contract

I saw this headline and wondered why the Dallas Cowboys would let Tony Romo go to the New York Giants; and I wondered why Romo would take less money to play behind Eli Manning. The link is even greater because the Cowboys and Giants are in the same division.

It turns out that this is a baseball story, and this Romo (Sergio) plays for the San Francisco Giants. The headline writer should have realized that this headline would be confusing; or maybe he/she did it on purpose to sucker me in.

It worked, but it was misleading.
