On paper, writing

FOUND ONLINE: President Donald Trump was furious the FBI chief wouldn’t publicly deny he was personally under investigation in connection to the Russia probe so he put it down on paper, writing an angry, rambling letter about why he didn’t want James Comey to stay on the job.

Yes, this is one sentence. I'd change he was personally to Trump was, and I'd put a period after Russia probe. And I'd tighten up the rest of that long sentence.

President Donald Trump was furious the FBI chief wouldn’t publicly deny that Trump was under investigation in connection to the Russia probe. So Trump wrote an angry, rambling letter about why he wanted James Comey fired.

FROM THE SAME ARTICLE: The original multi-page draft letter originally also mentioned Comey’s investigation into Clinton as a reason for the firing, according to the Washington Post.

You have original and originally early in the same sentence. You could cut out originally and have the same meaning.
