3 AM IN THE MORNING

FOUND ONLINE: This is Congress not the Waffle House at 3 am in the morning!

Three a.m. is in the morning, so you can simply say 3 in the morning or 3 a.m. I'd also put a comma after Congress.

I know this is nitpicking, but it's a lesson in editing.
