Unrequested advice

Bit of advice: It seems that everyone wants to be a freelance writer and editor, and that makes it tougher on professionals and wannabes.

From personal experience, I can tell you that it's easier to find freelance work when you have a regular job.

Unless you enjoy having no job security and not having benefits, find a regular job and freelance on the side. Unless you enjoy having to sell your writing and editing (or other) skills on a regular basis, find a regular job and freelance on the side.

Good luck to all of us.
