At least 1000

FOUND ONLINE: Among the 307 players who have shot at least 1000 three-pointers, Dwyane Wade has the second-worst career percentage (28.9), ahead of only Charles Barkley.

I hate it when writers write 1000 when they mean 1,000. This writer does it constantly, so he must be making a statement. Whatever the reason, he's doing a disservice to the reader. I wind up having to read sentences twice.
