I love reading other editors' pet peeves. It makes me feel less alone. Lack of parallel structure is one of mine. I see this kind of construction all the time, and it makes me slightly batty: "He is studious, kind, and loves animals." Bleah. --Suzanne www.suzannemeyersediting.com
