This sentence needs a small edit:

Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman each hit homers in consecutive at-bats, while Yadier Molina had four hits — all singles — and starter Kyle Lohse singled, too.

You don't need to say that Pujols and Berkman each hit homers in consecutive at-bats. They homered in consecutive at-bats.
