Landing sight

Found online: If the landing sight were a baseball field and the LEM landed on the pitcher’s mound, the astronauts never got out of the infield — except for a brief detour Armstrong made to North Crater in shallow right field.

The problem is landing sight. It ought to be landing site. It's an easy mistake to make, I guess, but a good editor should catch it.
