Wood singed

FOUND ONLINE: Wood singed with the Packers in 1960 and played for the organization until 1971.

If Willie Wood had been a singer, you could say Wood sang. He was a football player, so this would be Wood signed.

I realize I'm nitpicking here, but someone should have caught this. Hey, singed is a real word.
