Rearranging a wire story

I ALWAYS WIND UP rearranging wire stories. Take this one:

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) _ Cam Newton ran for 188 yards, passed for 140 and accounted for four touchdowns as No. 7 Auburn beat No. 12 Arkansas 65-43 in a wild game Saturday, benefiting from a couple of disputed replay calls.

I'd change it to this:

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) _ Cam Newton ran for 188 yards, passed for 140 and accounted for four touchdowns Saturday as No. 7 Auburn benefited from two disputed replay calls and beat No. 12 Arkansas 65-43 in a wild game.

It doesn't make it shorter, but it's a logical way to write it.
