Height, weight and distance

I found a sentence that partially reads Scales, who is 6-foot-4, 258-pounds...

Associated Press style would be Scales, 6-4, 258 pounds...

There's no reason to hyphenate his weight.

A writer said that an athlete ran for a 15-yard touchdown. You don't run for a 15-yard touchdown; you run 15 yards for a touchdown.
