I recently herd Williams

FOUND ONLINE: I recently herd Williams say in an interview that he doesn’t care about the next man up philosophy, he has his own way of thinking, best player up.

This article was a mess of little mistakes, but I found herd twice. The writer meant heard, not herd. And the story wasn't even about the Marshall Thundering Herd.

Also, I'd use a semicolon after philosophy; there are two complete thoughts there. And I'd hyphenate next man up.
