It doesn't even phase us

Found online: Other than that, looking at the points, it doesn't even phase us.

Don't get excited. Voice recognition equipment was used, and nobody bothered to read this and realize that it should be faze, not phase. Phase, of course, would be something out of Star Trek.

Other than that, looking at the points, it doesn't even faze us.

Running into foul ground

Found online: With a runner on first and one out in the fourth, Cody Ross hit a sharp grounder down the third-base line that Machado backhanded and threw to second while running into foul ground to start an inning-ending 5-4-3 double play.

"While running into foul ground" is lost in the shuffle here. I'd make it two sentences and do a bit of rearranging:

With a runner on first and one out in the fourth, Cody Ross hit a sharp grounder down the third-base line. Machado ran into foul ground, backhanded the ball and threw to second to start an inning-ending 5-4-3 double play.
