Finished completing

FOUND ONLINE: Osweiler finished completing 22 of his 41 passes for 131 yards. His 131 yards are the second-fewest passing yards ever with 40 or more attempts. Only Jesse Palmer had a worse performance back in 2003.

There's nothing dramatically wrong here, but it could be improved. The first sentence could be tightened, and the second one could be melted into the first. Some people consider that a run-on sentence; to me, it's tight writing on deadline.

The third sentence? I'd like to know what Jesse Palmer's worse performance was.
