The problem is that homecoming is one word. And the writer (or editor, if they have one) should have known that.

FROM ANOTHER ARTICLE: So the Dolphins had their top five offensive line on the field together for the first time this year. And the Steelers' defensive line was no match for them.

I assume the writer meant "top five offensive linemen" rather than "top five offensive line."
