You make it, man

You make it: I used to tell people: "I don't take photos; I make them." I wasn't sure where that came from, but it seemed true to me. Just now, I found a quote by Ansel Adams — "You don't take a photograph, you make it." — and it's possible that's where I heard it.

It's all semantics, but that's what we talk about here. I make photos. Then I either keep them or sell them.

Scandalized: There's an interesting scandal reported in the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/03/business/media/03paper.html?th&emc=th). A Canadian paper apologized to the subject of an article and to two reporters and claims the errors were introduced during the editorial process. The editor and publisher were dismissed.
