THIS HEADLINE is close to being right, but it feels like something's missing.

Miami Dolphins stress team's prepared for the end of the NFL lockout

It seems like there's something missing.

Perhaps they should have said this:

Miami Dolphins work to be prepared for the end of the NFL lockout

or: Miami Dolphins trying to be prepared for the end of the NFL lockout

By the way, that's a really long headline.

or: Miami Dolphins aim to be ready for end of lockout
