Found online: The NFL took $36 million in salary cap space over two years from the Redskins and $10 million from the Cowboys over the same time period.

Let's change it to this:

Over a two-year period, the Redskins and Cowboys will lose $36 million and $10 million, respectively, in salary-cap space.
