I'd change it

HERE'S A PARTIAL QUOTE from the wire today:

"... I think Steve (Letarte, crew chief) called a great race,” Gordon said.

I'd change that to this:

"... I think (crew chief) Steve (Letarte) called a great race,” Gordon said.

It's just smoother and easier to read.
